About

This project came to be when Cristiano Cardone, a researcher and novelist, chose to convert his latest novel into a web-comic. To accomplish this aim, Cardone assembled a team of artists from all over the world, some of whom had prior experience in the comic business, while others were newcomers eager to take on this task. Regardless, Cardone's objective was not just to adapt his tale, but to offer each and every artist involved the opportunity to express themselves and market their art as they saw fit. The tale of CFBT is then described as a one-of-a-kind experience.

One of the goals was to bring the gripping plot to life visually, but also to develop a new medium to portray the characters' tragedy and to enhance the universe constructed inside the text. CFBT is an abbreviation for Crooked Fingers, Broken Thumbs, a statement that represents both Paweł and Ania, the true protagonist of the narrative. This tragedy kicks off the "Carne-Osso-Tendine" cycle, laying the groundwork for two subsequent stories that are already in the works.
